Keira Polk {2012 Senior}

Keira is another one of our 2012 Franklin Road Christian School Seniors and we absolutely loved getting to know her during our portrait session together!  After our session we'd easily describe her as quiet and confident, sophisticated and laid back, down-to-earth and GORGEOUS!  Keira really was a wonderful model and we easily filled the evening with various locations, outfits and poses.  As a result, we ended up with WAY TOO MANY proofs and had a very hard time narrowing down the best.  Here are just a few samples of our favorites from the evening, but there were so many more good ones!

Lauren Craddock {2012 Senior Mini-Session}

Mid-afternoon portrait sessions aren't usually our first choice, but Saturday afternoon turned out beautiful, sunny and mild.  The clouds cooperated to lend some occassional shade, but when it blazed we headed into the woods to grab shots of Lauren in the nearby pine forest.

To say that Lauren loves trees would be an understatement - she LOVES trees.  The bumper sticker on the back of her car even says "I Love Trees".  I think it's an addicition.  :)  So, to feed the addicition, we found the biggest, coolest tree in the woods and had some fun photographing in, around and under it. Enjoy these teasers from the afternoon!

Megan Morgan {2012 Senior}

Wednesday night with Megan Morgan was completely enchanting, nostalgic and fun!  Megan chose, as one of her senior portrait outfits, to wear her grandmother's handmade prom dress from the 1940s.  The dress was intricate and obviously lovingly constructed, and it was so neat to be a part of a precious memory, passed down over the generations.

The flowy white dress was very fairytale-like and really captured the heart of Megan's portraits.  Megan's other outfits were beautiful too, but there was something so special about the dress that we found that the majority of our images centered around it.  We kind of fell in love with it, you could say!  :)

Please enjoy just this little glimpse of Megan's senior session with us.

Susanna Lindberg {2012 Senior}

We have been looking forward to photographing Susanna's senior portraits for well over a year now and were excited to finally have to opportunity to spend the evening with Suzy and her mom!  Suzy is fun, laid back and truly a kindred spirit.  :)  In between our portrait locations we talked graduation plans, great movies we've seen, and sang in the car at the top of our lungs (well, Suzy and I sang - Kevin and Christina just talked over us and regarded us both as a little "off") - it was perfect!

Susanna was so easy to work with and gorgeous to photograph!  It was a challenge not to get carried away taking pictures, but we did end up shooting until well after dark.  When it was just too cold to be fun anymore we headed over to the Chinese restaurant in town and had a late night dinner of Crab Rangoon, General Tso, and Sweet & Sour Chicken - yum!

Enjoy just this little glimpse of Susanna's session.

Christina Mansfield {2012 Senior}

Christina Mansfield was so much fun to work with and has one of the most contagious smiles ever!  We laughed and joked around the whole evening and it was actually a challenge to capture a few more serious expressions without all of us cracking up laughing again.  :)  We absolutely love portrait sessions like that!

The evening turned out sunny and warm which made shots down by the lake authentic and fun!  We felt like we picked a perfect day to spend inside Kensington Metro Park, to be sure, especially since today it's snowy and cold again.  Welcome to springtime in Michigan - bipolar, with an attitude!

Enjoy these teasers from Christina's portrait session with us and make sure to let her know how much you love them!
