Jessica Dornfried {2013 Senior}

Jessica's night of senior portraits turned out beautifully!  The day was warm, but the evening turned out perfect for us and for her portraits.  Since we live in the great state of Michigan - home of amazing cider mills and numerous apple orchards, we started the evening at Parshalville Cider Mill in the tiny little (almost unknown) town of Parshalville.  The mill was still closed for the season, but you could tell they were hard at work getting things geared up for the upcoming apple and cider rush inside.  We took advantage of the momentary quiet and were able to capture a fun variety of shots with Jessica all around the mill and property.

After Parshalville, we headed over to Spicer's Apple Orchard for more great fall portrait opportunities.  Again, we were fortunate enough to have the Orchard almost completely to ourselves.  It really was the quiet before the storm, because this weekend marks the official start of Autumn - which means an extremely busy Spicer's from now until Thanksgiving.  We feel like we snuck in just in time!

Enjoy these teasers images of Jessica and be sure to let her know what you think!

Evie Kutler {18 Months}

How can it be that sweet little Evie is already 18 months old?!?  The old saying that children grow like weeds is so true, especially when you don't get to see them every day.  Each time we've had a session with Evie, it's amazing how much she's grown and changed.  She is becoming such a beautiful young lady - full of big personality and style.  We love having the opportunity to document her as she grows and can't wait for our next session with her!  We can only imagine how much she'll be up to at 2 years old!  :)

Krystin and Jerad - Evie is such a gem and you guys are such great parents!  We hope you enjoy these teasers from her 18 Month Session.

Jenna Sheena {2013 Senior}

We have been anxious to share Jenna's teasers because we are so excited about how they turned out!  All of the pieces of the evening were perfect (the weather, the subject, the location) and we loved how willing Jenna was to have fun so we could get creative.  As soon as we met up with Jenna she said she was willing to try anything for the sake of her portraits so we had a great time in and around downtown Farmington, checking out areas we hadn't shot at before.

It was great meeting Jenna, her mom and her aunt, and we were so glad we had the opportunity to capture Jenna's senior portraits for her!  Enjoy these teasers and be sure to let her know what you think!

Corey & Ashley {Engaged!}

We met Corey and Ashley through a friend who was a fan of ours on Facebook (yay!!!) and have absolutely loved getting to know them over the past few months!  This past Saturday we had the opportunity to photograph their engagement portraits in the beautiful and bustling city of Northville and were blessed with some hot, but beautiful weather.  The forecast was steamy temperatures and stormy skies, but with a slight breeze the heat wasn't unbearable, and apparently it rained everywhere but where we were that evening!  Lucky, lucky us!

Corey and Ashley were fun and full of laughter throughout the entire session - perfect for capturing the lighthearted and fun side of their relationship.  They met online a few years ago and have had a solid, red-hot relationship ever since.  It's so much fun being around couples that are so into each other!

Enjoy these few teasers from our night with Corey and Ashley, and check back in April for their wedding teasers.  The date will come soon enough!

And of course we had to end the evening on a extra high note with Jack's Ice Cream in downtown Northville!  We like to treat our couples right.  :)

Janelle Grant {2013 Senior}

We've known Janelle for a few years now and were so happy when she asked us to take her Senior Portraits!  Janelle is one of the sweetest, kindest people we know and we loved that she was willing to be creative and have fun with locations during her session.  We explored a bunch of different corners of Kensington Metro Park and since it was such a hot evening, that included wading into Kent Lake!  The cool water was a refreshing treat from the heat wave we've been dealing with, and I think we enjoyed that location the most both because of the dramatic, colorful sunset and the cool water.  We could have done without all of the icky seaweed, but hey, we shouldn't complain.  :)

Janelle is our first senior from Southfield Christian and it's neat that both Kevin and I have a history there and can now work with other students from SCS.  We hope you enjoy these teasers from Janelle's session, and if you like them please be sure to refer us to your friends.  Referrals are the BEST form of flattery and compliment.  Thanks!
