Susanna Lindberg {2012 Senior}

We have been looking forward to photographing Susanna's senior portraits for well over a year now and were excited to finally have to opportunity to spend the evening with Suzy and her mom!  Suzy is fun, laid back and truly a kindred spirit.  :)  In between our portrait locations we talked graduation plans, great movies we've seen, and sang in the car at the top of our lungs (well, Suzy and I sang - Kevin and Christina just talked over us and regarded us both as a little "off") - it was perfect!

Susanna was so easy to work with and gorgeous to photograph!  It was a challenge not to get carried away taking pictures, but we did end up shooting until well after dark.  When it was just too cold to be fun anymore we headed over to the Chinese restaurant in town and had a late night dinner of Crab Rangoon, General Tso, and Sweet & Sour Chicken - yum!

Enjoy just this little glimpse of Susanna's session.

Morgan and Spencer {Equine Portraits}

There is something just so beautiful in the bond between a horse and his girl.  <3  Spencer and Morgan are so cute and we had so much fun capturing the relationship between the two of them during this mini equestrian portrait session.

The forecast for the day was all rain, but somehow we were able to sneak in a few images in and around Berwyck Saddle Club for Morgan.  We would have rescheduled since the morning was blustery and cold, but we were working against a deadline - Spencer was moving away and Morgan only had a few days left with him.  The portrait session was beautiful, but bittersweet, to be sure.  Enjoy these few teasers from the day!

Christina Mansfield {2012 Senior}

Christina Mansfield was so much fun to work with and has one of the most contagious smiles ever!  We laughed and joked around the whole evening and it was actually a challenge to capture a few more serious expressions without all of us cracking up laughing again.  :)  We absolutely love portrait sessions like that!

The evening turned out sunny and warm which made shots down by the lake authentic and fun!  We felt like we picked a perfect day to spend inside Kensington Metro Park, to be sure, especially since today it's snowy and cold again.  Welcome to springtime in Michigan - bipolar, with an attitude!

Enjoy these teasers from Christina's portrait session with us and make sure to let her know how much you love them!

Elizabeth Clark {2012 Senior}

Elizabeth Clark's Senior Portrait Session was beautiful in so many ways!  The grounds of the Matthaei Botanical Gardens were beautiful in their springtime splendor, the weather was chilly but still beautifully mild, our model was beautiful inside and out, and we had the amazing opportunity to spend a beautiful evening with new friends.  Elizabeth and her mom made our job so easy - they were relaxed, fun and all-around great people to spend time with.  We had a great time and can't wait to share these teasers with you!  Enjoy and leave Elizabeth plenty of loving feedback.  :)

Kenneth Holt {2012 Senior}

Kevin and I have decided that along the Riverwalk in Downtown Detroit might be one of our favorite places to shoot.  There is so much variety between the abandoned decay of old warehouses, the shiny gleam of the Renn Cenn and the earthy beauty of the riverside parks.  You also never know what you will run into in the D, so our portrait sessions there always have the potential to be quite interesting.  However, the only thing surprising or unexpected about our senior portrait session on Wednesday was the phenomenal weather!

Our session with Kenny was a lot of fun and it was easy to capture a bunch of great images of him since it was just a lot of fun to be outside.  His entire family (plus his cousin, David) joined us for the shoot and it was a great time for the younger kids to run around and enjoy the amazing spring weather while we worked with Kenny.

Enjoy these teaser images from our session with Kenny and let him know what you think!
